Primary Election August 18, 2026 * All voters may vote in a primary for school board members

As a proactive member of the Gulf Breeze Chamber of Commerce, the Jay Chamber of Commerce, and the Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, I actively participate in community engagement initiatives. I take pride in being part of the Santa Rosa County Retired Educators Association (SRCREA) and the Florida Retired Educators Association (FREA), which keeps me informed about local issues, including those related to the election and the school board. As a Santa Rosa School Board candidate for District 5, I use my advocacy to support our schools.

Currently serves on the Do Unto Others (DUO) Board of Directors to enhance community engagement in Santa Rosa County. Additionally, I have served multiple years on the GBES School Advisory Board as a Teacher Representative and Chair, actively participating in the election processes. My commitment to community engagement continued through my years on the GBES PTA as a Teacher Representative and Executive Board Member, where I contributed to school board initiatives. I have also participated in several district-level committees, including Paperwork Reduction, Insurance, Technology, and COVID. Furthermore, I was a member of the Teachers’ Negotiation Team, focusing on retaining high-quality teachers by improving salaries and working conditions, supporting the vision of Marie Locklin for School Board.
